Kona Coffee Price
Kona Coffee prices from the Kona Cloud Coffee Estates ensure that coffee lovers everywhere can enjoy real Kona Coffee. You can get other coffees at a lower price, but none of them can bear the all-important label of 100% Kona Coffee. The Kona Coffee price from Kona Cloud Coffee Estates allows restaurants, hotels and other providers of fine coffee by the cup to leave their guests with the lasting impression they can get only from real Kona coffee.
Why Kona coffee prices are higher
Kona coffee is grown only at specific altitudes on the slopes of Mount Hualalai and Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. There are, therefore, less than 2,500 acres of Kona coffee growing area in the world. Real Kona coffee is rare! For this reason, many coffee companies sell “Kona Blends.” These coffees may sell at a lower price, but they typically contain as little as 10% Kona coffee, blended with 90% other coffees, such as Brazilian or Colombian. To carry the Real Kona Coffee label, 100% of the coffee must be produced at a specialty coffee estate in the Kona region.
Hawaii’s Department of Agriculture also mandates that a farm which produces “specialty” coffee, such as Kona, produce only one type of bean. It must have a clean taste, uniform moisture and no undesirable aromas. Only the very best coffee the Kona region can be labeled “Kona Coffee.” This wonderful commodity is, indeed, quite difficult to find.
Why our Kona coffee prices are so affordable
Kona Cloud Coffee Estates is a family operation, with a 21-acre farm in Hawaii and a roaster in Jim and Karin Ameika’s hometown of Jonesboro, Arkansas. This allows Kona Cloud Coffee to ship its harvest to one location on the mainland, then sell directly to retailers and consumers all over the country.
Kona Cloud Coffee keeps prices affordable so that everyone can enjoy delicious real Kona coffee!
